Sewing Camp 
for Kids*
A perfect way to introduce your children 
or grandchildren to sewing or quilting!
Kids will pre-select fabrics, and make a simple rail fence quilt top using the Accu-cut and sewing machine.

Several dates scheduled:
Thursday, June 25
Tuesday, July 14
Thursday, July 23
Thursday, August 11
(SELECT ONE SESSION!)
All classes held from 10 AM to 3 PM.  
$30 plus supplies 
(approximately 2 yards of fabric required for quilt top), 
includes lunch and snacks!

Avera Marshall Nursery Blanket 
project underway again!

Last winter, our volunteers completed 83 simple fleece blankets 
for donation to the local hospital nursery in just under two weeks.  
The need has been so great, the blankets are almost gone, 
and we are again asking for your help!

Just visit Fabrics Plus, and pick up fleece squares and an instruction sheet.  
The only tool required is a tapered awl (available for just $5)
Your time is your donation to a great cause --- no financial commitment is required, however donations are welcomed.  (All donations should be directed 
 to the Weiner Memorial Hospital Foundation.)
This project is suitable for pre-teens and teenagers too!
